Today I had an AMAZING manifestation happen that came to me in a way that I NEVER would've been able to outline even if I had tried.
So I am a sucker for Wen Haircare - I think it's amazing! (plus it's all natural which makes me very happy) I've been almost out for weeks now and being that money is tight I had to put it on my 'Must Manifest' list which means to me figure out a way to manifest this. (I know that's not the way it's supposed to work but the truth is that's still how I approach it - live and learn right?)
So anyway in my attempt to "make it happen" I outlined a few ideas of my own, like mentioning to my Grandmother and hoping she would buy it for me..hehe. That didn't work. Then I thought "okay, when I get some money I will just buy it" and at that I just let it go.
I still thought about it but I didn't obsess about how I was going to get it. In fact I actually started looking for other shampoos, though to be honest my hair wasn't liking what I was finding and that was making me unhappy - which of course made me think even more that I needed some more Wen and I needed soon! One thing that I've learned (and get to re-learn) is that The Universe delivers things that I want in ways I would never dream of or maybe even never think of!
About a week ago I received an email from a group that I belong to where a person talked about using Baking Soda and Apple Cider Vinegar to wash your hair (Yes I had the same reaction, so I did a bit more research). I thought that it was very strange and that there was NO WAY that this could work for my hair. Baking Soda? Apple Cider Vinegar? What will my hair smell like? How frizzy will it make it? Well I caved! (plus I was desperate) I thought 'okay, I am all about natural and it's not expensive - AT ALL - I can give it a try, plus I already have the products so I don't need to buy anything.'
So Monday night I tried it and was absolutely amazed with how it worked. My hair was soft and silky, frizz free and didn't smell like vinegar. It actually smelled nice. I was shocked and EXCITED. So here I am thrilled about my new revelation - already planning all the ways in which I can make conditioner (which is really just Apple Cider Vinegar with some herbs like lavender and orange peels) when I get a text message from my sister-in-law saying that they have some Wen shampoo that they want me to have.
SCORE!!!! The Universe delivers! I was super excited about that too - and then I realized 'Hey, that's a demonstration'. I then realized something even larger - that I had let go of my attachment to the outcome! That is the key to receiving anything. Simply letting go of any and all attachment to the outcome. I know that, you know that, anyone who teaches or learns how to use the Law of Attraction knows that and yet for me it is so easy to forget when I am emotionally attached. Because in that moment - I want what I want.
Seriously, I want it now! Kinda like Baruka Salt in Willy Wonka and yet we all know what happened to her...lol. So the key to manifesting anything - is letting go of the outcome. Trusting The Universe to work (which of course brings up a whole bunch of other stuff that I will save for another blog) in it's own time and knowing that if you are meant to have it you will. But you won't have it until you are okay with not having it. (I will repeat that because it is the key to manifesting.) You won't have it until you are okay with NOT having it. When you are okay with no longer having what you want then you have truly let go of any attachment to any outcome. That's when the Universe starts to deliver.
That's when everything seems as if it's just being thrown at you. But the truth is that you've done all your work - you've asked, you've let go and you opened yourself up to receive. I know those things look simple but I know from experience that as simple as they may be it is not easy at all. I also know that if you keep working at it it does get easier :).
Here is the link for the shampoo in case anyone is interested in trying - try it at least once before you rule it out! For all you know you may just be clearing out that shampoo collection you have! :)
