As I've been sharing I am having money challenges, so needless to say that when my new part time pet-sitting gig told me that I would need to purchase a uniform I freaked for a split second before I reminded myself that somehow it would work itself out.
Of course once I removed the fear - it did!! A few months back my Aunt purchased some clothes for my sister and I from Eddie Bauer. I had been procrastinating about returning/exchanging them with the box sitting in my living room since April. Turns out that was a good thing because I was able to exchange them today. I bought a pair of pants and a rain coat for the wet weather. They didn't have the white polo shirt that I needed but I was happy with the rain coat since I honestly never think about the rain until it's raining..LOL.
My new boss had mentioned stopping at Target for the polo shirts which I did tonight. I first looked in the Women's section but didn't see any so I decided (or should I say the decision made me because I was already picturing myself in another store) to check out the Men's section. I found a sturdy material that I thought would be good but they didn't have them in a small. I walked a bit further and found a Jersey T style that wasn't as sturdy as I would have liked but I thought it would work. On top of that it was $7.99 versus $12.99. I thought I could deal with that.
So here I am happy that I have found my shirts and at a price that was definitely doable for me. Finished with that business I start walking towards the paper department when BAM!! I'm in the boys section and what do I see? Yup, the sturdier Polo but in boys sizes. Now I'm a small girl so I thought I could definitely fit in the large or extra large, maybe not a perfect fit but hey they're just for pet-sitting. Then I look at the price - $5.99. SCORE!!!
So just as I let go, again, I am given what I need in a price range that is absolutely perfect for me!!
Once again I am totally, completely, gratefully happy with how The Universe works.
